This magnificent Lea Francis 14HP 'Estate car' was sold new in the UK. The automobile was extensively restored by Lea Francis Cars Ltd in the years 1986-1988. in the United Kingdom.
Now, 35 years later, the automobile is still in a very good and beautiful condition!

The car was imported to the Netherlands in 2002, the current owner bought the car in 2005.
The Lea Francis has been superbly cared for and well garaged during this period of caring ownership. The chassis and mechanics of the car are in very good condition and the car drives great. The wood of the body is still in perfect condition and the interior is beautiful!
The fabric on the seats and headliner is perfect, the wood finish of the dashboard and doors is sublime. The engine room is neat and you will find the beautiful Lea Francis 1767 cc four-cylinder engine with double overhead camshafts!

Only 916 of these 'Woody' estates and vans were built from 1946 to 1953 by Lea Francis and their Coventry area coachbuilders on the 14HP chassis. Lea Francis always produced reliable and robust passenger cars and beautiful sports cars.

This Lea Francis is complete with a history folder with English correspondence and invoices from the 1980s and 1990s.
