Restauratie van een Jaguar E-type

This is a photo report of a complete restoration of a Jaguar E-type OTS 3.8 from 1963

We carried out this in 2019-2020.

This Jaguar E-type 3.8 OTS was in a good running condition, but the body had a few "bad" spots.

The owner of the Jaguar E-type roadster wanted the car to be brought to perfection. So everything was disassembled and sorted. Subsequently, the body was taken to a body shop to have it blasted, welded, tightened and sprayed.

The original color, Opalescent Silver Blue, has been chosen. This was the original color according to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate.

In the meantime, we have thoroughly addressed all technical components of the Jaguar E-type roadster in our workshop. So the engine, gearbox and rear axle. But the suspension and braking system of the Jaguar E-type were also overhauled.

Building this Jaguar E-type roadster could therefore be done very efficiently. The interior has been renewed and a new soft-top has also been fitted.
