This beautiful Alfa Romeo Montreal comes from a discerning collector and the car is in excellent condition!
The car was brought to a high level in the period 2017-2020. The engine has been completely overhauled and rebuilt, the SPICA fuel injection system has been overhauled by the world's best specialist in the US, and the chassis has been upgraded with a 'Montreal handling kit' developed by former Autodelta driver and suspension specialist Harvey-Bailey.
Furthermore, the drivetrain and brakes have been overhauled, the Bosch fuel pumps have been replaced by Walbro pumps and the exhaust has been renewed.
The bodywork has been restored in a number of places and provided with beautiful new paint, the seats have been reupholstered with beige leather and the dashboard instruments have been overhauled.
The costs for all these improvements add up to approximately €50,000.
It is not difficult to understand that this Alfa Romeo Montreal drives and steers perfectly! The V8 sounds impressive and the ZF 5-speed gearbox shifts great!
The handling and driving experience are a wonderful balance between sportiness and comfort.

The Montreal was designed by Bertone as a concept car for the future (based on the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 racing car) and exhibited at the Canadian World Show in Montreal in 1967. In 1970 the concept materialized in the form of the Alfa Romeo Montreal with a 200 hp. version of the Tipo 33 engine mounted front.
The Alfa Romeo Montreal is a beautiful 'Gran Turismo' that is capable of covering long distances at high speeds, with sufficient comfort for the passengers and enough space for their luggage.
The Montreal accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 220 km/h: super car performance for a GT in the 1970s!
The Alfa Romeo Montreal is a fantastic driver's car and good examples are highly sought after these days.
