This beautiful and striking Volvo 1800 ES was originally sold in the USA.
The Volvo 1800 ES is one of the first "lifestyle estates"; another classic example is the Reliant Scimitar. The car was imported from the USA to the Netherlands in 2006.
Upon arrival in the Netherlands, the car underwent an extensive restoration.
The original dashboard and leather upholstery were refurbished.
Since 2006, this desirable Volvo 1800 ES has had only two owners.
The 1800 ES is powered by the renowned Volvo B20 four-cylinder engine featuring a fuel injection system. In recent years, a stainless steel exhaust and 123 electronic ignition system have been installed. The engine runs perfectly, and the gearbox—equipped with Overdrive—shifts excellently.
The Volvo 1800 ES is a beautifully designed car featuring fantastic details such as long side windows, a glass tailgate, and chrome trim strips that extend into the door handles.
The Volvo 1800 ES is a rather rare classic; only 8,078 units were produced between 1971 and 1973.
This Volvo 1800 ES drives very well. A magnificent 1970s icon for the enthusiast!
