The bodywork has been wonderfully restored and resprayed in its original colour.
It has also been exceptionally well preserved and treated for rust protection.
The engine has been replaced with a fully reconditioned exchange unit supplied by Volvo Sweden. This well-known and highly reliable B18 engine (1,778 cc) produces 85 bhp and runs beautifully.
The Amazon is an iconic Swedish classic, and in this estate (station wagon) form it is especially rare and desirable. Driving an Amazon is a truly unique experience.
This Volvo (P221) is equipped with a brake servo and an alternator.
