Original Surrey top featuring a black base with window, silver metallic detachable (aluminium) roof top with ventilation hatch, and a foldable black vinyl roof top stowed away in the boot.
This magnificent Triumph TR 4 rally car was restored, built and prepared to perfection by Piet Mozes Restorations in Heerenveen, the Netherlands.
Costs nor effort were spared achieving perfection in every detail!
Restoration started from the bare metal. The roll bar was custom made and is fixed to the chassis on four points for optimum safety.
The car was given a high-quality modern paint system in the original colour black and finished with clear coat. The automobile was completed in the year 2009, a photo report of the restoration is present.

Over the years, the car has participated in several historic rally events without any mishap.
Between the events the car was serviced beautifully.
The car is in a very good condition showing only slight signs of previous use.
With its 125 bhp engine and proper suspension upgrades the car is very fast and agile.
In period the Triumph TR4 was a very successful racing and rally car. Triumph TR4 (works) cars competed in major European rallies such as the 1962/63 Tulip Rally, the 1962/63 Alpine Rally, the 1962/63 Liège–Sofia–Liège marathon, and the 1962/63 RAC Rally.
This is possibly the most solidly built Triumph TR4 historic rally car you will find globally!
