Matching numbers, a Heritage document is present.

This magnificent Triumph TR 4 rally car was restored, built and prepared to perfection.
Owner and car have participated in several historic rally events without any mishap. Between the events the car was serviced and maintained to the highest standards.
The automobile was restored and prepared in the year 2009.
Restoration started from the bare metal. The roll bar was custom made and is fixed to the chassis on four points for optimum safety. The car was given a high quality modern paint system in the original colour black and finished with clear coat.
Costs nor effort were spared to reach perfection!

The Triumph TR4 is the successor of the Triumph TR3.
This Michelotti styled Triumph came onto the market in 1961.
The Triumph TR4 is a real British roadster; pure and honest. The Triumph TR4 is built with a sturdy separate chassis with independent front suspension and a live rear axle.
The TR4 is equipped with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
The bonnet shows a beautiful power bulge which gives space for the two carburettors.
The Triumph TR4 has a very beautiful dashboard that is clear and functional and is equipped with large Smiths clocks.
For the TR4 a very nice "Surrey-top" is available as accessory. The Triumph "Surrey top" inspired Porsche to built the Porsche "Targa" versions.
The Triumph TR4 is as all the TR versions a real drivers car.
