Triumph TR 3, year 1957.
Colour red combined with a black leathercloth interior trimmed with white piping and black carpet.
This wonderful TR 3 comes with an original hard top in body colour. A black vinyl soft top is also present. This stunning Triumph TR 3 was sold new in the UK where the car was extensively and perfectly ‘body-off’ restored in recent years.
This right-hand drive TR 3 was imported to the Netherlands in November 2024, but not yet registered for road use. All the important UK and import papers are present, this sports car can be sold to and registered in any country. The wonderful professional restoration is fully documented.
This TR 3 is one of the best you will find; this example is in a superb top condition (concours)!
In 1956 the Triumph TR 3 was the first production car presented with disc brakes on the front wheels made by Girling. This wonderful TR 3 shows all the original details, and the car comes with a hard to find original hard top! A complete soft top comes with the car, ready to be exchanged for open top driving. The overhauled two-litre four-cylinder engine runs and sounds perfectly, and the four-speed gearbox shifts snappy and precise.
The car is fitted with silver enamelled wire wheels. Furthermore, this TR 3 features period correct accessories like auxiliary Lucas wide beam cornering/fog lamps with black vinyl covers at the front, a badge bar, and a Butlers map reading light on the dashboard.
