The story of the Morgan 4/4 is one of remarkable longevity, a steadfast beacon of traditional British motoring. For decades, craftsmen at the Malvern factory have lovingly built these sports cars, using time-honoured techniques and an ash frame.
This approach has always been about character over outright speed, a fact that has endeared the 4/4 to enthusiasts worldwide.
By 1998, the model had been in continuous production for much of its 62-year history, and that year saw a significant modernisation under the bonnet with the fitment of the Ford Zetec 16V engine.
The 1800 cc. Zetec 16V engine delivers 121 bhp and 162 Nm of torque giving the 860 kilogrammes light Morgan 4/4 a spirited performance!
The classic handcrafted looks and the modern mechanics, combined with the sporty driving experience are the charm of this legendary classic roadster.
This example is in a very good condition, and it comes with a complete service history from new. The car is fitted with wide chrome wire wheels, a baggage rack, an umbrella tube above the rear bumper, two door mounted rear view mirrors, and a sports steering wheel with a wood rim.
