Mini Special 1100, year 1976.
This wonderful Mini is painted green metallic with a brown metallic roof which is combined with a plush brown cloth interior. This light green Special 1100 was assembled in Belgium. Subsequently, the car was sold new in the in the Netherlands.
This delightful Mini Special is being cherished by its last owner since 2009, and the odometer now reads 95.000 kilometres.
Because the car had some rusty spots the owner decided to have the metal repaired and repainted.
The project grew to an extensive restoration and overhaul by a professional specialist in the period 2020 – 2024. A photo report of the restoration is present.
This Mini Special 1100 is in an excellent condition and the car drives perfectly!
The overhauled 1098 cc engine delivers 46 hp giving the mini a spirited performance!
The renewed brake system with drum brakes around stops the light car in the blink of an eye.
