MG MGA 1600 Roadster, year 1960.
Finished in Orient Red with a black leather interior trimmed with red piping and black carpeting. Fitted with a black vinyl soft top and tonneau cover.
This MGA was delivered new in the United States in January 1960 and arrived in the Netherlands in 1996.
What followed was a meticulous, no expense spared restoration carried out to perfection, a process that continued until 2014. Over the past years the car has had one careful owner, who drove it only sparingly but maintained it with great dedication. Today, this MGA 1600 is in excellent condition and drives superbly. A very extensive history file accompanies the car, containing numerous photographs, invoices, and the British Motor Heritage certificate.
This beautiful example shows delightful original details and is equipped with its original steel wheels with chrome hub caps and the original steering wheel. The presentation is wonderfully authentic, and the driving experience is exactly as an MGA should be: light, lively, and engaging. The MGA 1600 roadster is one of the most desirable classic open British sports cars.
This exceptionally restored and perfectly maintained example is a true gem for the enthusiast.
