This Series 2 (VIN: 1R7297) features an original black leather interior and black soft-top.
This is a “matching-numbers” Jaguar E-type, according to American specifications.
The powerful 4.2-liter engine is equipped with 2 Strombergh carburetors and delivers more than enough power for this classic open sports car.
The E-type was purchased in 2014 from the first owner in Connecticut, USA.
Since then, it has had only one owner in the Netherlands.
The car was completely repainted in 2015.
The current odometer reading is 11,096 miles.
In 2015, this was 8,462 miles.
This classic Jaguar has been well maintained over the past 10 years. The interior is still original and in good condition.
The Series 2 features various improvements over the Series 1, such as better cooling, better brakes, and more comfortable seats.
The color Willow Green was introduced on the Series 2.
This E-Type drives very well and proves once again that driving a Jaguar E-Type is a special experience.
