This beautiful Fiat Spider was delivered new in the United States and imported to the Netherlands in 1991. The bodywork has been beautifully repainted and fitted with classic stainless-steel bumpers. The cylinder head has been overhauled, and electric power steering was recently installed. The Fiat Pininfarina Spider 2000 was the final, refined evolution of Tom Tjaarda’s 1966 design, after Pininfarina took over production completely in 1982. The 1995 cc engine with Bosch L-Jetronic injection delivers 105 hp. Combined with the excellent chassis and disc brakes all around, the Spider 2000 is one of the most enjoyable and comfortable open sports cars of its time. The tasteful interior features a classic layout with fine leather seats, a handsome sports steering wheel, and a beautiful wood-inlaid dashboard.
