Austin Healey 100/6 (BN6) ‘two-seater’, year 1958.
Body colour British Racing Green over black combined with a dark green leather interior trimmed with black piping and pale (suede) green carpet.
Black vinyl soft-top and a black canvas tonneau cover.
This fabulous ‘Big Healey’ was extensively restored and overhauled in the period 2020-2022.
After completion of the restoration the car was driven sparsely.
This fine Austin Healey 100 ‘SIX’ is in an excellent top condition and it drives perfectly!
No matching numbers car (the engine was exchanged in the past) but a ‘big Healey’ which ticks all the boxes of desirability!
It is a two-seater fitted with the engine of a 3000 Mk III, fitted with the big SU carburettors and a ‘centre-shift’ gearbox with overdrive.
The car is also fitted with disc brakes at the front wheels, an alternator and electronic ignition.
The 150 bhp engine adds greatly to the driving experience with its massive torque.
The exterior looks purposeful in its British Racing green with black. The black wire wheels and the big Lucas SFT700 lamps add to the sporty appearance as does the deletion of the standard bumpers.
Now, chrome bumperettes are fitted at the rear.
The Austin Healey is one of the… No, possibly the best-looking British roadster ever made!
