The MG C was built between 1967 and 1969 and was intended as the successor to the Austin Healey. The MG C was equipped with a 2912 cc inline six-cylinder engine that produced 145 hp and gave the car a top speed of approximately 190 km/h.
Compared to the MG B, the MG C has a modified front suspension with torsion bar springs to accommodate the increased weight of the six-cylinder engine. Only 4458 MG C's were built with the GT bodywork during that period.
