Triumph TR 250, year 1968.
Colour Jasmine yellow combined with a black leather interior trimmed with white piping and black carpet. Black cloth soft-top and vinyl hood cover.
The Triumph TR 250 is the American sister model of the European Triumph TR 5.
The TR 250 was fitted with carburettors, the TR 5 featured Lucas mechanical petrol injection.
The TR 250 is a rare Triumph, only 8484 examples were built in 1967 and 1968. This Triumph TR 250 is in a very good condition and the car drives and sounds delightfully!
The wonderful 2,5 Litre cast iron straight six engine is ‘fast road’ tuned and is fitted with S.U. carburettors. Furthermore, the car is fitted with overdrive, CV joints in the rear half axles, Minilite style wheels, 123 electronic ignition, a stainless-steel petrol tank, a stainless-steel sports exhaust, and an electric (Facet) petrol pump. The stylish lines were drawn by the Italian master designer Michelotti. The interior breathes the ‘snug’ atmosphere of the classic British roadster with low seats close together, a wood dashboard with an array of gauges, and the steering wheel and shift-stick perfectly placed for a sporty yet comfortable driving experience.
This wonderful Triumph TR 250 was imported from Oregon (USA) in 1994, the car has known only one enthusiast owner ever since.
